We’re Finalists! Lumina Learning Shortlisted for the Learning Pool Awards

Lumina Learning, a world-leading provider of highly innovative and inclusive personality assessments, are finalists for the Learning Pool Awards!  

Learning Pool supplies our Lumina Learning Experience Platform. They are a full-service online training provider, offering courses, tools, and custom content to over 1100 organisations and 5.1 million learners worldwide. Each year Learning Pool gives their customers the opportunity to showcase their achievements at Learning Pool Live.

Learning Pool Live 2021 will feel progressively different to previous years. With many organisations having migrated to using learning platforms throughout the pandemic, remote and blended delivery is more crucial than ever!

This year the event will be hosted at The Brewery in London on Thursday 14th of October. The in-person event promises the opportunity to build connections with experts in the world of learning and the chance to create more impactful learning experiences when you witness the latest learning technologies in action!

In preparation for the event, organisations had the chance to send in submissions for specific categories for the opportunity to be crowned victorious winners.

This year’s four categories are:  

1. Most Innovative Use of Learning Technologies  

2. Rising Star   

3. Best Learning Transformation in Response to COVID-19  

4. Best Learning Project  

Unsurprisingly, the last year has led to a lot of firsts for many people! For Lumina Learning, this was the first time we made submissions to Learning Pool, which may surprise those who have first-hand experience of our LLXP.

After all, our Lumina Learning Experience Platform brings every Lumina solution to life with trackable, interactive user-led development experiences that engage participants from before, during and after personal development interventions. With this impact on our learners, it’s hard to ignore the possibility that we could be worthy winners of the Learning Pool awards.

As a leading provider of virtual and blended training across selection and personal development, creating a highly engaging and easy to use learning platform was crucial for us, particularly during instability. The first-class level of support that we provide to our clients has not gone unnoticed. We have recently been listed in the Financial Times as an executive educational leader in the digital space!

On top of that, our submissions were successful, and we are confirmed finalists for both categories we entered!

Most Innovative Use of Learning Technologies   

Our Blended Lumina Emotion Qualification has used learning technologies innovatively to make a unique and innovative contribution to the delivery of our qualification. With continuous improvements to the qualification, we’ve found the right balance of using Stream blended with virtual or face-to-face classrooms.

The results have been remarkable. On top of increased participation on our qualifications, our Practitioner community is now able to replicate both the skills learnt and include the learning objects developed for Stream, in their coaching sessions.

Best Learning Transformation in Response to COVID-19 

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected almost every industry in some way. At Lumina Learning, we are lucky enough that our Spark Virtual Qualification has positively impacted business throughout 2020/2021.

We combined our multiple regional face-to-face courses into one global virtual programme and found that the benefits were far-reaching! Participants were now able to exchange their ideas, perspectives, and shared experience with a more diverse learning group than was ever possible before. Not only has this impacted their learning experiences, but participation in our qualifications has significantly increased.

Due to Learning Pool taking a hiatus from the awards last year, the competition this year is bigger than ever, so we are proud to have been announced as finalists for these two awards on our first year of entering. See the complete list of finalists here.

We hope to see many familiar faces at the prestigious event in London on the 14th October. Learning Pool will be announcing the winners on the day!
