A brand-new series exclusive for the Global Lumina Learning Practitioner Community

If there’s one lesson from the past year of listening to our Global Practitioner Community and their organisations on what psychometric publishers could do better to support them, it’s providing continuously hands-on, practical guidance on getting the most impact from tools like Lumina Spark in transformational solutions. That’s why, from January 2026, we’re evolving your Global Practitioner Calls into the Global Practitioner Academy.

Whether you’re newly qualified or a seasoned practitioner with years of delivery experience, this monthly series is designed to support you to turn all the rich behavioural depth of your tools into easy-to-understand yet equally effective solutions, helping organisations adapt more effective behaviours in a way that changes business outcomes.

More Confidence. More Clarity. More Practical Skills

The Global Practitioner Academy will run as a series of focused mini sessions once a month throughout the year. Each month, we’ll dive into a specific tool and concept, highlighting tried-and-tested ways to apply your Lumina Learning toolkit effectively. Expect clear guidance from community leaders with ready-to-use techniques you can take straight back into your behavioural development initiatives.

You’ll walk away each month with:

  • A deeper understanding of how to apply core concepts like Embrace the Paradox, Valuing Different Ways of Being and the Three Personas across multiple contexts

  • Confidence adapting tools and frameworks for different organisational needs

  • Guidance on using workshop materials and digital tools, like the cards and Splash app, in combination for greater impact together

  • Practical ways to help participants explore their strengths, overextensions, and behavioural adaptability

What’s coming in 2026: Four mini-series

Embracing the Paradox Series

Paradox is at the heart of the Lumina Spark model and one of the key patterns to help people understand the potential to effectively adapt their behaviour. But what does embracing the paradox mean in practice and how can you bring the concept to life in sessions? This three-part series gave you practical frameworks to help people, teams and leaders work more effectively with their opposite strengths in real-world situations.

Part one: Embracing the paradox in leadership

Monday, 9 March, 11:00 & 16:00 UTC

This session explored how to use Lumina Spark, alongside practical exercises, to help leaders develop their ability to balance the paradox between their opposite strengths and to dial up both sides of their behaviours with intention to strengthen their influence and impact.

  • How paradox shows up in everyday leadership behaviour
  • Using wicked questions to deepen leadership reflection and shift perspective
  • Practical ways to help leaders balance opposite strengths in their behavioural styles

Part two: Embracing the paradox in teams

Monday, 13 April, 11:00 & 16:00 UTC+1

This session explored how to use Lumina Spark and the Team Mandala to help teams recognise the opportunities within their behavioural paradoxes, understand how their opposite strengths complement one another, and build more effective, balanced ways of working together.

  • How paradox shows up in team dynamics and collaboration
  • Using the Team Mandala to reveal complementary and opposite strengths across the team
  • Practical activities that help teams adapt and work more effectively with opposite styles

Part three: Embracing the paradox in communication and conflict

Monday, 11 May, 11:00 & 16:00 UTC+1

Creating scalable and sustainable behaviour change at every level of an organisation series

Psychometrics alone do not create change. The real impact comes from knowing how to apply behavioural insight in ways that engage people, support meaningful development and strengthen organisational effectiveness over time. This three-part series explores how to unlock greater strategic value from your Lumina toolkit and create learning experiences that lead to wider organisational change.

Part one - Reducing evaluative bias: Increase engagement and openness to change

Monday, 8 June, 11:00 & 16:00 UTC+1

In this session, we’ll explore how Lumina Spark reveals a more balanced view of behaviour and how this supports recognising the specific behavioural dynamics influencing effectiveness between people, teams and leaders.

  • How to avoid reductionist labels and stereotypes that can limit growth and potential
  • How the Six Patterns in Lumina Spark can support a more balanced view of behaviour
  • Creating psychologically safe experiences where people feel open to behavioural development

Helping organisations perform through change series

Restructures. Acquisitions. AI arriving faster than organisations can adapt. Upskilling and reskilling. Organisations are facing multiple waves of change at once, while asking people to adapt faster than ever before. Many are launching new initiatives in response, but far fewer are seeing anything change. Not because of the strategy, but because they haven’t built the behavioural capability people need to succeed: the ability to adapt different ways of working, leadership that directs and motivates, steadiness under pressure.

That's why in this three-part Global Practitioner Academy series you'll explore how to use your Lumina Learning toolkit to help organisations strengthen the human side of change by developing the behaviours that strategy alone can't deliver.

Part one - Helping people stay effective through changing roles, expectations and uncertainty.

Monday, 14 September, 11:00 & 16:00 UTC+1

In this session, we’ll explore how people can develop the behavioural adaptability to maintain their performance as roles, expectations, and ways of working continue to evolve around them.

  • Why even capable people still struggle to adapt, and what might be getting in the way
  • How people can recognise the behaviours that help them stay effective while expectations are evolving
  • Ready-to-use workshops, worksheets and coaching exercises you can put into practice immediately

Part two - Helping teams adapt faster and work better together through change.

Monday, 12 October, 11:00 & 16:00 UTC+1

  • Practical ways to help newly formed teams gain a shared understanding of performance.
  • Approaches to help existing teams align and move towards shared goals more quickly.

Part three - Your ready-to-use resources to support organisations through change

Monday, 9 November, 11:00 & 16:00 UTC

In this session, we’ll explore what's already available in your Resource Library to help you respond faster to change and create greater organisational impact without starting from scratch.
