The Return of Lumina Connect

Our Global Conference is back!

The return of face-to-face events has at times felt like a distant and hopeful wish. Being predominantly bound to virtual meetings and events in the last two years of our lives, we are excited to announce the return of Lumina Connect!

Every few years, we bring our global community together to celebrate the unique talents of those who work with us across learning, development, and selection. It’s also the perfect opportunity for those new to us to get on board and experience who we are and what we do. The return of Lumina Connect is the good news we have all been waiting for and brings the promise of a great few days to network and build lifelong connections with like-minded individuals face-to-face.

We hope to see many of you on 22-23 June at one of London’s premier entertainment venues, Twickenham Stadium, where we will be exploring:

• How can we evolve selection, learning and development solutions for the future?
• How does learning need to adapt in the hybrid workplace?
• How can virtual solutions create learning and connectivity between people?
• How do we use virtual tools to support inclusion in the workplace?
• How do we continue to support diversity in organisations?

2022 Theme

With Diversity and Inclusion having been at the forefront of progressive workplaces for the last few decades, we as a community must continue to do all we can to strive continuously to sustain diverse and inclusive workplaces that meet the needs of all employees and enable everyone in organisations to achieve their potential. That’s why this year’s conference will be focused on the theme of unlocking the potential of a more diverse, inclusive, and connected workplace. Not only that, but also focusing on how we can make hybrid and remote working better for organisations by being more inclusive of people’s working styles and adjustments to working in a hybrid format.

Lumina Excellence & Practitioner Awards on 22 June

The Excellence and Practitioner of the Year Award Ceremony is always a favourite at Lumina Connect. We are giving you the chance to take home an award or nominate someone you think deserves it. After the challenging few years we have all been dealing with, this is the opportunity to highlight all the outstanding work going on worldwide.

We will celebrate the community’s achievements in style at our magnificent Awards Dinner featuring fine dining, networking, music and some questionable dancing! You can submit a video interview and a case study which will be published across our global network in the lead up to the conference. Look out for the opening of our submissions coming in the next two weeks!

Lumina Reconnect

And if you can’t be with us in person during this beautiful midsummer’s week (where the sun sets at 10pm!), we will be hosting a virtual re-run of the whole event in July, so no one misses out on the key takeaways that we hope to bring you. If the last two years have taught us anything, it’s the need to go virtual to keep people connected! That’s why we’ve launched Lumina Reconnect.
